From Dusk Till DawnA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Your
shadow fades into The
background of a starry night, While
the face of the new moon Disguises
its feelings well. Still
the beauty of your eyes Can
see through the darkness So
you can find me there; Strong
enough to be your rock, Yet
emotional enough To
be the cloud that brings the rain When
your eyes become too dry. Till
the next sunrise Returns
with the essence You
cast upon the world That
sets you apart from “Just
another pretty face”, I’ll
be the cloak That
keeps your fortitude warm. © 2015 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
