Even Angels Drink Wine

 

 

Jesus turned his blood

Into wine

For his loyal disciples to drink

To cleanse their souls

Of their mortal sins.

 

Angels are God’s messengers

That influence us mortals

By leading by example.

 

That is why they drink wine

When their broken wings

Keeps them from flying

High as heaven.
