Normal is like poetry,

Open for interpretation…

Never judge someone’s verse

If you can’t read between the lines,

For what is crazy to you

Might be routine for me,

What you might find interesting

May be boring to me…

We all have our reasons,

We all have our rhymes;

         Everyone’s is different

         Everyone’s is the same.

 

We all are given a title

By those who have the depth

Of a silly limerick,

Don’t let that discourage you

From writing in your own style

Cause you have a voice worth hearing.

I love this! How often we judge each other because our perception of normal is rigid. When we read between the lines so to speak, we can understand motivations and intentions, a quest to meet a need. Really enjoyed the write.

I like it, Cowboy! It is so important not to let what someone says inhibit that inner voice inside. Look at Robin Williams. He was an amazing talent, but he never held back. He just let insanity pour out of him and he always ended every show with a humble, "Do you think they liked me?" attitude. Awesome!:)
