Poetic Ink is the color of your lips

When you speak to me in free verse,

Telling me secrets of the universe

Through intelligent phrases.

 

You teach me the art of feeling

When you let your red ink

Spill onto a blank piece of paper

Till I feel emotions so deep,

Like a tattooed heart on my chest.

 

Expressing uninhibited sensuality

The way you write your deepest desires

In my erotic journal with such a bold font.

 

You are an intelligent poet

You are a sentimental poet

You are an arousing poet

You are my poetic inspiration.
