When the heart bleeds

My pen will seep,

Emotions flowing

From every artery

Into one dark river of words.

 

When the heartbeats in rhythm

My pen will sing,

Serenading the power

Within the ballad

That love genuinely composes.

 

From heart breaks

To the heart racing

One thing will remain true,

I write whatever echoes off

The aortae’s chamber walls.
