Can you blame me

For kid killing kids

In the school hallways?

 

Can you blame me

When the news is filled

With so much fallen innocents?

 

Can you blame me

When all the rag covered bones

Dining in your trashcans?

 

Can you blame me

For the youth being desensitized

In the ways of respect?

 

Sure you can,

For I blame myself too

And I blame you,

I blame all of mankind.

 

For we are all supposed to be

The human, not the man

In humanity.

they learn things at home they can learn bad influences
from their parents but it
can be the crows they hang around.

for the innocent without cause:

very true and honest poem about being a "human". I like your "inversing" intonation, which goes from questions to answer in the end...And to the conclusion, that we are all guilty for that. Ask questions first of all about yourself (everyone of us) and then for your child and the closest ones...and see if you know even yourself! and if your mind is strong, if you are able to teach others of your example. Then all will be clear in your eyes...Humans are almost disappearing from earth!
