Angels Never LieA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)My aunt recently passed away and now i found out my friend lost her grand father, so it got me thinking and writing, this is the results. When
the soul of someone Close
to our heart Makes
its peaceful journey home The
emotions are bittersweet, For
the loss of their physical presence Leaves
a hole in our heart That
no amount of condolences Could
ever fill, But
once the pain of the loss Becomes
second nature There
comes a special kind of serenity That
adds a fondness to our heart Knowing
that our loved one Earned
the right To
be part of heaven’s light That
shines on us, Even
when the darkest clouds Try
to drown out our spirit. It
is inconceivable to think We
could ever fill the void Of
a dearly departed’s human form, We
just need to remember That
angels never lie When
promoting a guardian In
life to the after life To
forever be by our side. © 2014 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
