A play off of Frieda's poem "read 'tween the lines"
I don't understand why some poets just don't get it or know it. That there is more than meets the eye when other poets right their rhymes.
They should know not all is as it seems when a balladeer writes out their dreams. Us writers share a metaphorical bond cause we all drink from the same lyrical pond.
We all have to use the same words, because there are only 26 letters in the alphabet. To me a desert may be brown sugar, to another black sand. All in the perspective.
Poets write what they feel and they feel deeply.Sometimes a hundred people can read the same thing and it resonates differently for every one of them all.You don't know how your work will come across but if they take the time they will know what you meant,Awesome Cowboy Dale as always :)

No one understands a writer/poet quite the same way like another poet, we're all poetically connected and indeed we do drink from that same lyrical pond..we do, we do, a well written piece
Indeed, not everything a poet writes reflects his or her life at that moment. We are observers of life and we often write about other people's experiences. No, nothing is quite as it seems. We do tend to give the "audience" what they want.....and sometimes that means sweetening the bitter of life. I like this. Lydi**

some poets don't get it.. they don't LOOK.. they don't THINK... they just throw pretty words out there... I really enjoyed this one... some of your word choice is soo clever and creative makes me wish I had thought of it first... "lyrical pond".. love it.. I guess I drank from it, cuz all I wanna do is write out my dreams... awesome write!!

This is neat. One thing, due to content, I wasn't sure if don was intentional. I would assume balladeers is balladeer?
