Sometimes, when there is nothing more left to say, we need to get a fresh perspective on things, even if that means putting ourselves in a bit of discomfort, shock. It is sometimes called changing direction...A very well packaged and crafted thought process, Dale...Loved the red, blue & black ink!

Its a very special reading experience Dale. You are welcome.
The dreaded lack of inspiration. Everyone goes through this. But what you do here, What you've done here, is write about the "lack" of inspiration. Poked and prodded at your imagination, –––mocked it, until it gave you what you needed. Very creative, Dale. You coaxed it out of its burrow then wacked it over the head; cooked it, for dinner...
I like this. It reminds me of the days used to do just that. Write and crumple, write and crumple. Now I write and delete when I don't like it, but there is something so satisfying about tearing it up.

Yes there is, it is a great way to vent your frustrations.
That blank piece of paper... so encouraging one moment, so mocking the next... think yours has found its purpose, Dale, and it's clearing away the smoke...

A blank piece of paper
Is just a blank piece of paper
When the red ink is dry,
The blue ink is spilled on the floor,
The black ink has nothing new to say…
LOVED IT LOVE IT GENIOUS.

Gives a whole new vibe to when smoke gets in your eyes...how can you can be so uninspired when you're madly in love? I think your muse proved you wrong by the way....

Thank you so much Moonbeam, I wasn't uninspired I was being metaphorical.
my winds lay very still....I've camped out....heard wolves howl...eaten alphabet soup with a prophet...from the can....I think I've seen your smoke rings. I heard a distinct rumble...thought it was thunder...silly me it was just your chair:) Happy Sunday Cowboy....sending inspiration by fire!
