I Will Be The Calm During Your StormA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Like
lost artwork I feel the darkness Surround
me without your Beautiful
blue eyes lighting my way.
Just
know that even When
clouds fill them up And
the rain begins to fall I
will be there to soak up Every
single last drop.
For
my heart is like a sponge That
will grow to any size To
accommodate all the water The
storm in your mind provides.
If
you bring on a hurricane I’ll
be the strongest structure That
will defy the wind.
When
you feel like a tornado I
will bend like the trees But
still stay rooted in my Commitment
to you.
Let
a tsunami well up inside you And
I will become the dam Keeping
your emotions From
being flooded out.
When
you feel the Weight
of the world Crushing
your spirit I
will be the Hercules You
always dreamed of. © 2014 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
