Life…(Rodeo Bull)

 

Life can put up

One hell of a fight;

Hit you from behind,

Take a cheap shot in your gut

Until you are spitting blood.

 

Life is one hell of a ride;

Sometimes you just got to sit back

And enjoying the view

As the soul racks up the miles

On the journey to the promise land.

 

Life…

         I treat it like a rodeo bull

         Inspiring to be like Lane Frost,

         When I get thrown off

I just cowboy up,

Dust myself off

And prepare for the challenge

Of the next ride.

Author's Note

Lane Frost was the youngest World Champion bull rider and inspired many too be a better person inside. He was tragically killed on July 30, 1989 when a bull hit him in the back breaking a rib that pierced his heart. His legend as a bull rider and kind human being lives on.

Yes of course real warrior is above and beyond death, death is only a holiday inn to rest during travel, legacy will travel centuries and soul will continue to live more lively may be way better than anytime in the past, dead souls are the more active verb, at times life is in passive mode which is not meant to be, I am scared to visualize myself as a bull rider, so forget about life ride, enjoyed every single lines
