My Louvre Shines Bright For You

My Louvre Shines Bright For You

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

The hopeless romantic strikes again with his metaphors

"

Give me your shadow

And I will treat it like a canvas,

Painting it with all the bright colors

From the pigments of my spirit.

For you are the muse

That makes all my artwork

Personally priceless.

Your soul hangs proudly

In every chamber of my heart,

Making it feel like the most valuable gallery

In the world,

And that is why I Louvre You so much.

Nicely written with an unexpected twist at the end, didn't see that coming! Lovely sentiments, well expressed.

Thanks Rita, that is me, a cheesy romantic
This poem is so brilliant that I am overcome by it, and I shall even admit my jealousy that I myself didn't come up with this type of metaphor first. I love this piece.

Thank so much sir, not sure where it came from it just hit me like a two ton brick.
Haha … dale. This reminds me of a battle of puns Doctor Wood and I had on twitter. You should write some MOMA of these.
