This is absolutely beautiful in both meaning and expression.
(We have been brainwashed by the media (led astray by media's trick of light) . It has taken me a long time to realize that beauty is subjective.

You have struck a chord within me with these words that couldn't have hit the nail on the head with anymore precision:
"It is ok you're not Snow White,

It is so easy to just blindly accept what we are fed instead of questioning and deciding what we choose to "eat"....

Instead of sleeping your life away" such a waste of life to always think that you have to live up to a certain standard that someone else has set for you...

The ending is my favorite part... You have made the hopeless romantic in me sigh with such intense contentment. You have skillfully weaved our fairy tale ending with such wisdom that rings as an epiphany when realized. I absolutely love this!

In the end, beauty is subjective, and nothing anybody says should be able to make you feel bad. Maybe you're not beautiful to yourself, to the media, but rest assured that you are beautiful to SOMEBODY. Somebody out there thinks you're the most gorgeous thing they'd ever laid eyes on. Yep, beautify is in the eye of the beholder, unfortunately some people listen to the media's ideals instead of making up their own mind.

Most girls put on make up because they are not happy with themselves. But I like to believe you're only old enough to wear make up once you realize you don't really need it to be beautiful. That's a nugget of wisdom I picked up from Desperate Housewives. :P Some of us only wear it for the love of make up in general. We see it as an art. Nail at for example: It's a teeny part of our body. One that no one ever looks at. It's stupid when people think women paint their nails to look attractive to men. Correction. Women get implants to look attractive to men. Women paint their nails simply because they like painting nails. The way we look may have once been for the attention of men, but that was a very long time ago. Back when feminism wasn't everywhere. Now, our physical appearance is simply for our personal satisfaction. :)
