Your mind is not a toy,

It is too intelligent

To be wasted on the minds of

The ignorant.

I want to listen to all it has to say

And respect all its logic.

 

Your heart is not a toy,

Far too precious

To be wasted on anyone who

Is too careless.

I want to handle it with care

Like a crystal vase.

 

Your body is not a toy,

It is far too beautiful

To be touched by someone

With ugly desires.

I want to cherish your glory

Like a Greek Goddess.

 

All in all you are a priceless individual,

Though I may never get to be the one,

I hope someday you find a man

That appreciates all he has

When he has you.

I don't know why some men look at women as their plaything. A woman must be loved. She is not a toy, so anything about her should be respected. Perhaps those who treat women like that don't think that their sisters and mother are also women...

Holy Cow Dale these are wise words that even I want to share with my daughters. I think a lot of people are guilty of associating a pretty and/or handsome face with mindless creatures that cannot feel. Ugly, pretty, Man, Woman, we all bleed and hurt the same.
