A Mystery That Shall Remain

A Mystery That Shall Remain

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Midnight stars die

In the presence

Of the full moon.

Foggy skies hide the pain

Of heaven looking down.

Sunrays wipe away

Any trace of sadness.

The Earth’s cycles

Recycle every emotion

In the book.

When you turn the pages

All the important words

Are scratched out

Leaving you to wonder

What are the real motives

Of the man in the moon.

perhaps he is there to help the cow, just in case it doesn't quite get all the way over???
Just a thought

Thank you… I think that is the most important part in bringing meaning to a poem.
We may never know, but we know your motivation, to create excellent poetry.

You're welcome!
Whimsical thoughts revolve around the moon...
I feel a rebirth every time it rotates around us...swiping away the sadness, to recycle (made better)...

Thought provoking write, Dale... NICE!~xoxo~

Thank you very much… appreciate it.
I don't think he has any agenda at all, perhaps the one thing we can trust in life, the sun will come up in the morning, replaced by the stars and a brilliant moon. I like how you wrapped your pen around emotions and earth cycles Dale. Reflective and introspective piece of work here, outstanding job my friend.

This is a time of reflection..a time to look back on what's been written and what's yet to be. And to wonder about it all is the joy, hope and future:) xo Excellent write..x

Thank you wild one… you have some great perspectives.
and I do wonder about that, the phases of shadow and light, and all things cosmic. Loved these lines best:
Recycle every emotion

In the book.

When you turn the pages

All the important words

Are scratched out

why do some peoples books read like a fairy tale and others like a horror story, I wonder about that, loved this one Dale.

Why thank you so much… so happy you enjoyed it.
Dale, wow, very philosophical and impressive write. mysteries of life and others and even ourselves sometimes can be hard to comprehend, but maybe it is in the recycling of emotions we learn what we can and learn to embrace what we can't know and maybe just instinctively feel. This write still has me pondering..excellent work..
