This is certainly a clever play on words. I imagined the writer creating something from their perspective of the subject; "a picture of you." The first line indicates a fantasy of imperfections into the stitching of a soulmate. I sort of reminded me of Sally from the "Nightmare Before Christmas." I rather enjoyed this!
