Sewing To You

Sewing To You

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

A senryu Yes I know that sow and sew are different, just a play on words.

"

You reap what you sow?

Then I am gonna stitch me

A picture of you.

I love the play on words, a clever Senryu indeed. Very creative and witty.

Thank you... play on words is so much fun.
Nice wordplay. Such a clever line........though you can also say "rip what you sew" as a statement in Garments which is supported by the next lines, you played here the quote "Reap what you sow" to make a thought that what will you do with the picture is just for revenge.
Well-penned, Cowboy!

Oh I am tempting you... whatcha gonna do about it?
Would be nice if it was this easy. To stitch up dreams and know happiness. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Yes it would be nice... thank you sir.
So clever, Dale, so like the use of words, like the clever change of that one word, a ripe use of the senryu discipline and all adding up to very happy visit.
