Powdered DoughnutsA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
That sticky sweet powder may give you a rush but the sour fall will shrink your veins, cutting off the source of good that fills your heart. If you are not yourself anymore then your tombstone has been carved for the grave you’ve been digging. Talking through rotten teeth only makes the lies stink more for you are not only living on
borrowed time but stolen money as well. It is fitting that you gave away your
soul for the condition it is in now it isn’t
worth a dime. But the soul is as resilient as it is invisible, so the damage can be repaired if only you are willing to see in the nick of time that the thing you think sweetens
your life is really decaying it.
