A Face In The Clouds

 

She gazes with mysterious eyes

seeing things others only dream to see.

 

Her breath is like a gentle breeze

that brings flight to things cast aside by the living.

 

She’s got touch that leaves no physical prints

but helps those paralyzed by fear feel again.

 

Though no one has met her

those with compassion in their hearts

know her intimately.

 

You don’t have to seek to find the spirit

that lives within us all,

just look without your eyes.

i really like this...the "she" is that part of us that can feel, empathize, love---

that part of us that understands, feels the pulse...is sensitive to what we need.

Magic. It's in all of us and you exude this in this short but powerful poem. Write on. I would like to see you your rhyme scheme in another poem. As in 5 then 4, 5 then 4, 5 then 4, the 4 and the 5, 4 and then 5. You create it and clap it to the words and it matches. You have what it takes. WRITE ON!!!!!!
