Too Strong To Fall(Too Tough To Stand)A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
I
see the eye of the hurricane whenever
we get into a staring contest.
In
these moments it is like being frozen in time like
a fly caught in a spider’s web.
I
never struggle to get free instead
simply pretend I am in a cocoon.
Every
time you stand your ground I
feel mine getting sturdier.
Huff
and puff with all your might my
lung capacity just keeps getting larger.
Your
unstoppable force meeting my
immoveable object keeps
our structure from falling either way making
these walls earthquake proof even
though we put each other six feet under. © 2013 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
