Evolving Through The Written WordA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
The sound of
silence drowns out the clatter of life’s wheels in
motion. So turning a deaf
ear to the negative screeching has become
obsolete. Never do I worry
when the elevator is broken for I relish in the
rush of climbing the stairs till the wind from
wings clears the dirt that has settled on
the bookshelves of my mind. This allows me to
read the story of my life without a dust
cloud affecting my perceptions of the past. This is the kind of
clarity that allows me to write the future with less typos
than before. I know errors will
still occur, but the edits will
not be as extreme.
