that was absolutely fantastic. that last line alone could stand the test of time. very, very excellent verse, sir. this could be part of a large series with great effect.
The balance of life
hangs in the balance
if we continue to
manufacture the seasons.
We cannot sustain as we are, I am convinced that when Mother Earth has had enough, she will give a mighty shake, allowing her to return to her more 'natural' state. This is thoughtfully written, beautiful yet expressing a most disturbing trend. Well done!
I've read this no less than seven times now and every single time I think I know what you're getting at I stop and go, "No...that's not it." *laugh* So. In light of my astounding lack of insight on this piece, I will just say that it was a truly great write, and I've now read it eight times ;-)

Nine times now :-p And, as always, Dale, my pleasure.
Not really sure if this is about the weather .. but maybe it's whether or not we will survive the seasons thrust upon us .. We gulp down Man-made , everyday .. and listen to faux ideas, about how to build a better mouse trap .. It is a world gone mad ... but it's all we have ..
Interesting .. Jazzy

I t can be about what ever thoughts it provokes in you... that you so much for you thoughts.
~ indeed, we live in a rather artificial and plastic world... sadly, it's affecting our emotions too and making us more unnatural rather than humane... ~ excellent work, monsieur... very accurate social commentary...
oh how true.. what was once natural is being reprocessed and sold as new products.. it's really quite frightening, even in the medical industry with human tissue... I agree, it is a thought provoking piece.

I never thought about the medical industry... thank you so much for your input.
The future will remain uncertain as long as corporate entities are allowed to dictate outcomes by way of obscene profit-margins instead of what is true, and right. Thought provoking poem Dale. And because of the nature of your work I would say that maybe you might know some things... Thank you for sharing this
