Oh wow I love this. The imagery... and the welcoming "with open arms and mind where she can come clean and find salvation." I really like this write and enjoyed it. I also like this part here, with the emotion she has "feet caked in dirt
even thou she can fly." the way you describe things is nicely done.

Thank you very much... I appreciate your review and kind sentiment.
gosh! we read so much of angels, but always creating a beautiful visage of maidens with wings gliding in happiness! however this was different-an angel who was exiled~maybe tired from fighting for mankind so lost in chaos and sin.maybe she couldn't forgive herself for failing :"announcing halos to be as useless as the American dollar". Specially I liked the end-it had a positive feel to it : " where she can come clean and find salvation." great piece!
I love to go over to resent writes and reviewed and see what catches my eye and I always love to see when a poet I follow work catches hold without first knowing it is someone I enjoy reading, this was a wonderful work.

Thank you very much... always glad when you enjoy my poetry.
Salvation is forgiveness - salvation can be freedom. There is a humbling experience in this piece that stays with you after reading this. Humanity can be unkind, yet you show a kindness which some would shy away from- ignore. Yes we pray for compassion and tolerance but how many of us actually practice on this? You have opened the eyes of the true form of humanity. Wonderful write. Compelling, and honest.

You are so correct... thank you for the review and wisdom.
"For that same reason
I have brought her into my home
with open arms and mind
where she can come clean
and find salvation."
By reading those words this poems becomes for me a write not only about her and her divinity but you and yours.. Your open arms , where she in her brokenness can find salvation.. Excellent write Dale..xo

Thank you so much... I will always have open arms to those who fight for what they believe in.
This is larger than life.
The imagery is just amazing.
And another, your piece created a literal meaning
but I know I sensed there is something in
the piece than the words denote.
Will be back to read this again and will try to figure out
what causes this unusual feeling I felt while reading this.

Wow hank you so much... You reaction to the poem is quite humbling.
Wonderful write. The pure of spirit find society to weigh them down at times, stripping them of their motivation. I like how you incorporated her savior, to give her solace, a place to rest, and rejuvenate her spirit. Excellent poem.
