into the cracks caused

by lifetime breaks in yours.

Then no gap would exist

to keep you out of arms reach.

I do not want to part

the red sea for you,

to walk across it

Then when we touch

While your self esteem

becomes worth its weight in gold

so you and I can be individuals

while living our lives as one.
