Dancing In The Rain

 

Little droplets cascade softly to the ground

Like musical notes from heaven’s violin,

I take your hand guiding you to

This lovely serenade falling all around us.

 

Let the world think we are crazy

For letting nature soak drench our skin,

They are the fools missing out on feeling

The purest emotions mother earth gives us.

 

Under the silver lining in the sky

We dance across cloud nine in style

Striding across a rainbow without the sun

Lifting us above what darkens passion.

 

Dancing till the last raindrop

Cleanses the scars around our hearts

Washing away the dirt of past hurt,

Nurturing the seed of tomorrow’s spring.

This one captures the freedom to live. Doing it with a loved one in such a way others would think crazy only strengthens the reason to do it more. Love is not always bound by what others believe as normal. Good one.

Rain. Everytime it rains out, I step outside and look to the sky. Rain. It's like the tears of heaven, for joy or for sorrow. And I notice, everytime after the rain is gone, when heaven has no more tears to shed, the sky clears, and the sun brightens once more. Rain is much like love. Love brings you joy and love brings you pain. But when all else is gone, when the knot is untangled and the rainshower over, love shines even brigher, coming out of the shadow of the clouds, and all hearts will rejoice having been mended once more, and all past hurts will be forgotten.

~To feel the rain and dance in mother nature's gift, is such a gratifying experience. I remember doing that as a child... even adults need to nurture there souls like this once in awhile. This is breathtaking...great write!
