Enter at Your Own Risk

Enter at Your Own Risk

A Poem by Gigi
"

Some more stress-relieving writing. Emotions caught out of the air and welded down to the virtual paper! Weeee!

"

It's very hard to decide what to do.

When I know that all I want is you.

Everything could be ruined in life.

All this could do is cause strife.

But maybe, just maybe it could cause something diverse.

An existence that will take my whole being and immerse.

My mind controls my body from doing something reckless.

Frequently I wonder what would happen if I were thoughtless.

It's like he has some invisible power over me.

Almost as if I am a complicated lock and he's the key.

Sometimes I wonder if this is where I belong.

I ponder how long all this will seem to prolong.

How many times will I sing the same old song?

How many times will I be proven wrong?

Life is parallel to tears falling down my cheeks.

Made of sorrow or happiness, they're all just leaks.

But unlike tears you hardly see them on some faces.

You have to look beyond their noses, and check the spaces.

"Enter at Your Own Risk", says the situation.

But if you didn't go past the gates you'd never see "The Creation".

"Nothing ventured nothing gained."

But at the same time,

"Curiosity killed the cat."

Conflicting emotions roam freely through my thought.

If I could ink it out on paper, you would only see a blot.

My body still seems to have primitive ways of responding.

He touches me on the neck and my body wants fondling.

Words escape my lips as he does so.

"Don't Stop." I should just go with the flow...

Let my emotions dominate my Actions.

This choice however must start with our own secret faction.

Author's Note

Gigi
Sorry if I'm babbling mostly throughout the poem.
Constructive criticism is always appreciated.

And if you were confused about the "enter at your own risk" part, you should know I was modeling that after the Rocky Horror Picture Show... (I'm so bad).

Wow! you really had some nice lines in here...
I especially liked:
"My mind controls my body from doing something reckless.
Frequently I wonder what would happen if I were thoughtless."
and
"'Enter at Your Own Risk", says the situation.
But if you didn't go past the gates you'd never see "The Creation''.'

there was just the TINIEST amout of babbling, but this is a very nicely done poem.
