When I'm near you

A poem that I wrote about the feelings inside me when he comes by.

I feel like a scared little bunny when I am around you.

I haven't been this anxious before, wonder if you feel it too.

 

You put your arm around my shoulders and I die a little on the inside.

I feel so happy when i'm around you, that my heart has it's arteries tied.

 

I have the feeling of pure ecstacy when you pull me near.

Even though there are so many evils in this world, I feel no fear.

 

I've been hurt by you before, It will be my own risk to make.

My eyes are closed, my heart is open, I hope it's me you take.

 

When the lights are out and the area's quiet I whisper your name.

When days go by, as they fly by I hope this wasn't just a game.

 

I'll admit what I am the most afraid to say.

"I love you, and I've waited for you many aday."
