I do like this one - it speaks of so many other ways people die, without actually passing away, and yet they survive to go on and die again from something else.

here your statement is bold, cold and true.

this time no reprieve

THIS time Death killed me.

On a different note - a suggestion

by using your first line as a title only

the following six words would fit a six word poem...

may be worth a thought.

really liked this one

well done

I think that it could be more powerful. I disagree that its power has been fully explored. The title is off as well. So overall you need to dig more.

Short and powerful.

I like it very much.
All of us will be able to relate this with some incident in life that has left us mentally dead.

Excellent write.

Perplexing, I love the juxtapositions, because when is dying of death unlike always? Never... This is seriously quite good! I think you could add more, these seem like opening lines, or ending lines. Though they do stand well on their own. Nice job!

:-) I had to smile ... going on your previous poems, this is a great one! (ex. if you ever made a book, make this the last poem ;), excellent catch not just in this poem, but on your poetry in general!

Hmmm. Very thought provoking. Seeing I have dead a few times already in my time here.

I have died because of youthful stupidity. (pulled the plug on a washing machine that was over filling. quite shocking lesson)

I have died for family( cousin was drowning had gotten stuck under a boat, pulled him out but hit my head and loss consciousness and floated away until a stranger revived me)

The other time is a bit personal but I died for love.

Death awaits us all in many forms and ways. We must face it eventually and hopefully with the strength to stand strong and proud.

Great Job!!!!!!
