Battle

Battle

A Poem by dead dreamer

Fighting a battle that's far from won.
You just had to keep eating at me.
It was over before it begun.
I died but I'm back to make you see.
If you like living you better run.
There's no way to get rid of me.

Commitment is so hard to keep.
When you look into my eyes.
Rewards of life right there to reap.
You see the truth that kills all lies.

I won't falter. I won't break.
When you glare I'm always there.
My anger was my last mistake.
To even the odds when they aren't fair.
