Spiritual bashing

I know a lot of people from many different walks of life. Countless different circumstances of why they are how they are. Some are religious/spiritual and get bashed for it. It urks me to no end.

Religion guides those that lose their way.
Some call themselves god and others pray.
It gives them hope. Wicca, Buddha, the Pope.
It helps them through their lives to cope.
Why bash them when we all need love. Fact or fiction its from above.
A higher reason one you don't understand.
Let them have peace don't raise your hand.
Don't strike them down because you disagree.
Believing helps them feel free.
Religion and lore usually starts a war.
They want it die but it's so much more.
You can kill a man but not his past.
As he is lowered the trumpet will blast. Echoing the memories through time and space. Slapping you haters across the face.
If you aren't spiritual that's just fine. You stick to your beliefs and I'll stick to mine.
