I wrote this to "wake up" a friend I care about who always seems to get hurt

Girl he is poison you don't deserve this.
You deserve love that ain't hit or miss.
He cuts you so deep that you wish you could die.
All I can do is keep your tears dry.
Its hard to watch but I can't do a thing.
A guy like that is just after a fling.
He has your heart now and when all's said and done.
You'll have to start broken right back at square one.
