What I Would Give

What I Would Give

A Poem by devon

What would I give

To feel your arms around me?

I don’t have a lot to offer

But my love’s as good as any.

What would I do

To hear you whisper to me softly?

Why, dear, I don’t have much, but for you

I would give my last breath.

How much would I pay

To see you lie right beside me?

Darling, I may not be rich,

But I guarantee the price would be high.

Oh, what I would give

To have you love me dearly.

For that, well,

I would give you my everything.
