A Million Questions

A Million Questions

A Poem by devon

Right now I’m

Blinking back salty tears.

But don’t ask me why, because

I don’t know.

My life isn’t a sad story.

It’s hardly bad at all.

So why do I feel

So blue?

Smiling isn’t rare

For me, so answer this,

If you will.

How can I feel so down?

Do you think

Maybe the answer

Doesn’t lie in my life story,

But in my heart?

I, too, ask a lot of questions about how and why I feel a certain way. Sometimes I have no idea and sometimes I do. I appreciate you sharing your work in a way that allows others to relate. Thanks for sharing!

I think the answer to this lies mainly in your heart.

I ate so many cookies and my mom told me I had had enough and it was a wonder I did not explode, but I told her I had fed my stomach yes, but now I must feed my heart. Listen to your heart and your mind. Collaborations work well.
