![]() Just A Mile Up the RoadA Poem by devonHappiness is only Just a mile away. Too bad it’s looking To be a rotten, rainy day. So, I take another road. A dark and winding path. It’s leading me to sadness, And I can’t find the way back. Now I’m deeper in depression’s Winding twists and turns Than I ever intended. I’ll never get out. But at the end of the trail, There is a stream of light. It would seem that I’ve found the road to hope. I’m slowly making my way out.
