I was going to write a poem

About you, but

No stanza, or line, or word

Seemed as becoming

As your name.

 

My brain can’t comprehend

Any combination

Of letters

That isn't ‘y’, ‘o’

And ‘u’.

 

And suddenly,

All those vocabulary terms

We learned

In the seventh grade

Don’t make any sense to me

 

Because (you) every (you) other (you)

Word (you) is (you)

You.
