Just like the sunshine,

You chased away the rain.

Your smile, like magic, rid the pain.

My nightlight,

Eyes of the ocean,

Mesmerized me with their potion.

So, stop the courthouse’s bells from ringing,

Quiet the gulls perched at the bay,

Well, I guess I'll start in the beginning.

When I first started middle school in the 6th grade, I'd see this tall, lanky boy with the most gorgeous blue eyes and blonde hair walking down the hall every morning. I always thought he was the cutest thing, but I never spoke to him, with me being a sixth grader and him a 7th grader. His mom is a teacher at the middle school, and every morning and afternoon, I'd steal a glance at him as I walked past. I guess over time, my thoughts of, "He is so adorable" turned into a crush. By the end of sixth grade, it turned into this big, dorky crush.

But whenever I got to 7th grade, he had gone on to high school. I kind of forgot about him for a while, until my friend asked who I thought was the cutest boy in school and of course, there he went, popping into my mind again. I still saw him in the afternoons, walking to his mom's classroom, but I didn't see him in the hallways or in the mornings. I still had this huge crush on him, but I knew he'd never give me a second look, so I pushed every incredibly cheesy feeling or thought of him to the back of my mind.

This year, on my first day of high school, I hopped on the bus and sat down next to my best friend, Haley. We were talking and laughing and I hardly noticed the bus stop to let someone else on. I happened to look up in the middle of laughing at something Haley had said about her boyfriend's conversation with her about thongs, when I looked up and saw the most beautiful pair of ocean blue eyes and sandy blonde hair. I felt like I was going to throw up, have to pick my heart up off the floor, and giggle like a schoolgirl all at the time. You have NO idea what I felt when he came and sat down right behind me. And now, every morning and afternoon, when he walks on the bus, I feel my heart go on that same plunge right down to the bottom of my stomach. And every morning and afternoon, he comes and sits right behind me. It's like there he is, sitting right there, not even aware of the fact that I actually love him. I know I don't even know the boy, but I actually do... love him. I don't know how to explain it. But it kills me. HE kills me.

And thank you, babe! I'm glad you could relate/liked something that really and genuinely came from my heart. :)

I don't want to interrupt your conversation, but I just want to say something:
If you really like the guy, approach him in some way. If you really can't gather the courage to talk to him in person, talk to him online. Because I can tell you from personal experience that not approaching someone makes your emotions grow larger over time, and that just makes the fall more painful if that person turns you down. Besides, even if you like the person just a little bit, not telling them makes you eventually fall in love with them. I've gone through all of that, and now I approach the girl as soon as I notice I like her. That way I'm not hurt if she says no.

Giving words of wisdom makes me feel like I actually did something useful, instead of just hanging on the computer the whole day.
And about talking to him, you can really choose any topic, no matter how irrelevant it may seem. For example, I met this girl last weekend, and I really liked her. I added her on Facebook, she accepted, but then a problem came: I had no idea what to say. So I just said "screw it, I must say SOMETHING" So I simply wrote "Hey! What's up?" She responded with something like "Nothing, just boredom ^^ " And then I said "Hey, even though we met each other last weekend, we didn't really talk, so I was wondering, what do you usually do for fun?" And then a conversation rose up, and with some luck, it will get me somewhere.
My point is, even though it's really obvious I started talking to her because I like her, it's still important to talk about random stuff so we can see if we fit each other before anything happens.
So don't be afraid to strike a random conversation with Peter. That's how the game is played. :)

Harley - he started with the acoustic guitar first. People say that's the best way to go for the first couple of months. Then he bought the electric guitar, and now he's nailing songs on it as if he was born with it. An he's been playing the guitar for no longer than half a year, I think. Though he sometimes gets really hardcore and plays it about 5 hours a day, though not that often. And thanks about the major thing. :D
