Dev 5: "When that numbskull referred to my latest life forms as extraterrestrial... Which is technically incorrect."

Dev 1: "They don't live on Earth now do they?"

Dev 5: "Course not, but they are land dwelling creatures, so they are in fact terrestrial."

Dev 2: "I'm just here to fill in for Dev 3, so... I love butter."

Dev 4: "I'm here because the downstairs coffee machine had somehow become sentient and is violently throwing paper cups and splashing decaf coffee"

Therapist to Dev 4: "Dude, that's nuffin. The Toaster told me this morning that he actually identifies as a male muffin machine.. I just.. Left my toast there.."

Therapist to Dev 5: "I only hope that this time you didn't create a gang of wild and violent antromorphic reptilians..."

Dev 5: "No, I actually created a species of five legged space slugs..."

Dev 1: "See? It's in the name, like I said: extraterrestrial!"

Dev 5: "I shall not grace that with a reply. I will simply reiterate the fact that they are land dwelling creatures, I was originally going to make them space dwelling, but that would defeat the usefulness of five legs... Also, technically speaking, everything is space dwelling. Everything takes up space." 

Dev 6 walks in the room: "Uhh, guys... Anyone know why the coffee machine is cursing? Oh, by the way, the alarm tied to the Andromeda galaxy is flashing like a Christmas tree.."

Dev 5: "Oh, the coffee maker received an update from the toaster.. As per the alarm, it's probably that weird fungus thing we've inadvertently created..."

Dev 1: "You mean the stuff we developed for the pizza place so we can get discount pizza?"

Dev 5: "No, the other one... You know, the green goo thing that eats all sorts of organic tissue and spreads faster than the plague..."

Therapist: "Discount pizza?"
