I was the one

I was the one

A Poem by Danelkahr

I WAS THE ONE

I was the one who was hurt in front of those people,

“waiting for you is like waiting for rain when its drought.”

I internally bled and the suffocation grew with

 deep progressing pain of imagination.

Whispers of laughter were passing by the air,

I could say at the moment I felt the pain she pulled in my heart.

My courage was pressed down to my face and was left with

nothing but running emotions of slamming doors.

 Several problems threatened to wreck my nerve and

I wanted to curb my enthusiasm but your moments of

yesterday were too sour to help me achieve;

thoroughly I trusted what was intensely private and

accepted the fruits life brought to me
