What is desire?

“Desire is the essence of the human soul.”

What is desire and where does it come about?

Is it about feeling the feeling you have never felt

Before or is it the circumstance of a second chance

On love?

Is it about continuing with today’s memories for

Better tomorrows, it might be over but it won’t

Stop there.

Or is it about spending a lifetime knowing that

My deepest desire has not been expressed, as

I still hold it in my arms. Yet nothing gives me the

Fear to act upon the desire of my heart.

I believe desire is what lies between the vain of

My heart and flow with the blood of my body

To create a symphony of words and feelings.
