Borne From WithinA Poem by Daniel MaloneMirror, mirror, on the wall....
Nary a day pass,
I do not seek your advice. Withholding nothing. You highlight my imperfections. They are boundless. A cacophony of regret. Critique, laced with kindness, though none undeserved. Ponderous, I turn to you. The load only grows. Is it self-mutilation? For what do I search? You are but a reflection. How can you judge? I trust your assessment. It's borne from within. Objective by nature, yet only in theory. You seem to only whisper, what I already know. © 2013 Daniel MaloneReviews
