to be person i don't want to be

you're the only thing i genuinely wanted

needed

everything i cherish is slowly turning gray

soon black

but there is a light at the end of the tunnel

just you

and i can't be happier.

i can't say it out loud, so i write it:

i am in love with you

and i know you feel it too

yet here we are

facing each other

but avoiding eyes

this has what its come to.

but it will never end

i know this,

i feel this.

you are permanently in my heart,

left a mark,

and now you walk away. 

I'll watch you as far as I can,

I'll even scream your name

but I know one day you'll leave me

but i will never leave you.

You'll bury all the pictures

while i'll be framing them,

you'll be throwing away my jacket,

ill be clutching yours,

you'll run away

and i'll chase.

I think it's time to forgive me.
