Hell

Hell

A Story by Delaney Thomas

When I was little, I was always told that only bad people went to Hell. I was told that if you did good, you would go to Heaven. Now that I'm older, I've realized that Heaven and Hell aren't real places; they're just mindsets of the people. You see, I've always thought of myself as a good person. I would help others, always put others in front of me. I never really did anything bad. Even through all of my good doings, I still found myself in Hell. The best of the best could end up here, for absolutely no reason at all. They were just destined to be here. I've always wondered if maybe I have sinned and I just didn't realize it but eventually I realized that I did nothing to belong here, I just am. It isn't fair but who said life's fair, right?
