be it rain or be it blood

be it rain or be it blood

A Poem by D. Colton P.

Rain falls. Rinsing what needs to be cleaned. Left hand the enemy of the right. it cowers at the reflection off metal from the light of the half dead lamp. Water falls. drip drip drip. mixing with my lifeline creating something no longer clear. like the apple of my eye. pain or pleasure. the most difficult to seperate. so alike in form and feeling. the hybrid gives life to something oh so new. I hate that born a new, hate it with something one might call a life pump. slower and slower it falters. drip drip drip, not the rain. the noise is the anthem of my moment. of my biggest failure. slower and slower it breathes, failing with every drip, be it rain or be it blood. til i hear nothing. And then it stops. Oh dear.

Excellent view through the eyes of the broken hearted;
I have been there and cause it myself;
someone once said justice was served best cold!
