You’re Still an Angel to Me

 

In a minute I get to smile

And I know, I’m thinking of you

What’s inside could never hide

For me. My feelings are true

I loved you in my way back then

You meant so much to me

Never would that change at all

For as long as I will see

Sometimes it’d take me back a bit

To think of you again

For years I was lost myself

I’d just, … remember when …

And I’d miss you in my day

Then I’d come to see

That no matter where you are

You’re still an angel to me

And I’m glad,  to find you in my days once more

For in my world you bring me a smile

And I get to love you all over again

I’ve missed that for a while

Our paths, they’re not the same no more

And time’s not what it used to be

And in my world I’ll cherish you

You’re still, an angel to me
