Know Me

A thought off a thought that became a thought....

I can paint a picture,

And you would see me well,

But unless you look inside my heart,

There's no way way you could tell....

I can feel your heart you know

And all the pain inside

But writing leaves us inside out

So the pain it just can't hide

And when you are inside out

Scary, though it may seem

We find out who we really are

No matter where we've been

So bring to me your words you say

And I'll be there for you

Walk right through your fears you know

I'll be right here too

And we can walk together

Even if not side by side

Through all life has to offer

No longer have to hide

And strength will come in numbers

A friendship becoming true

No matter what the world brings

I'll be here with you...

And I know it isn't easy

For I've been this way before

I'll do my best to walk with you

And you will know me more
