The World Can't.....

It seems at times as we go through life
With the world riding on our heel
Driving us to lose our senses
Shaping the things we feel

We strive to get to somewhere beyond
And life gets in our way
Its not always even our own
Our words get stripped away

The world falls upon us
Driving us through our fear
And as much as it takes away
What’s in our hearts remains clear

Our mind would leave us longing
For what the world should bring
Though our heart is what brings us heaven
Where we’re given everything

Looking inside our own heart
Will show us our own end
I can see to believe in you
You’ve shown me that my friend

The world is not our resting place
Always so much left to do
Keep the beauty of your heart, don’t give in
As this world would have you to

There’s something to be said
For the gift you’ve been to me
Yet God gives the gift of life
And its given to us free

The worry of the world will be
We treat it as we may
But it can’t touch the power of His love,
God gives us through each day

The world won’t be where we find our peace
Gods promise is to see us free
The world wants to take us away
But can’t take the friend you have in me

you can't touch grace or faith either but it's okay to believe in something you can't see. I believe in Jesus cause he died for me yet I can't see him or touch him. But I believe he is there, cause he hears all my prayers. One day I hope to meet God.
