I'll Find you in Your Dream

The Dreamer I am.

Ever since I was a child
life has always been for me
Nothing simple in my world
Nothing would set me free
Time took hold and held my heart
For it seemed nothing new would be
Cept for the world in my eyes
There was nothing else to see
I go on as I always to
Still, back in my deep dark mind
There was something I was looking for
Something I knew I had to find

I chased a many rainbow
And found nothing that it would send
I chased my only happiness
To find it come to an end
I burnt the candles in my world
To watch them melt away
I sought my heart just to find my soul
And I found the words won't go away

Now I'm left to my world
A place I wouldn't choose to be
And I seek my soul to find a way
To live in this reality
Now resolved to follow my dreams
Somehow I know that you are in there
So I'll live in this dream of mine
Until I find you I can't share

And so I'll fall to sleep when you do
And I'll meet you in your dream
for there I want my reality to be
Just what its never been
And I'll see your dream and hope
For now i'm wanting you to find
And i'll meet you in this dream of yours
And hope to carry you into mine

And maybe when I find you in my dream
and we can can become one in there
We'll wake to our reality
And begin a life to share.
