To Bring Me Back To You

To Bring Me Back To You

A Poem by Donald Cole
"

We go through ive with a series of Challenges all designed to Bring us back to Him.

"

Living in my state of mind

Longing for what I don't find

I wonder am I truly blind

To what you say and do

I live my life sometimes in fear

Not really wanting to be here

Yet still finding you more near

I want to be by you

Sometimes I haven't words to say

I'm just a bit too tired to play

On my knees I go to pray

Slowly my heart does become true

What is it I am looking for

And all the things I've done and more

On the cross you settled the score

Bring my eyes to see

The glory you have brought this place

How to live within your grace

A smile upon your lovely face

And the love that set me free

Though I find this path be long

I count on you to keep me strong

Let me find where I belong

Through what I've left to do

Let me come to realize

Through all the years make me wise

May I know through all my tries

It is to bring me back to you.
