I can feel you

A poem to precede a love

 

I can feel you

And you don't even know

Where it is my heart lies

Until your fears let you go

I can sense you

As you bring to me this desire

Yet i cannot truly know your heart

Until you let the dream transpire

I can hold you

As long as it does seem

To be what you are wanting more

Than just a common dream

I can walk with you

Walk with you  by your side

We could begin to go places

That our hearts have only tried

I can love you

And never let you go

To share our every gentle way

To become what we want to know

A never ending story

To never fade away

And share one heart that lies between

To bring us through our dying day
