Missed You in my Heart

A poem of hope

 

I've missed you in my heart

I've kept you in my dream

Life, at least reality

Just isn't what it may seem

I've looked for you forever

Hardly known by me

Though I haven't nearly looked so far

As I guess my heart would see

Only so much I can do

To have you in my life

Only a bit more would be true

To find you my wife

For there is a path you see

That has already been laid out

My job for now is to walk on

Without a shadow of a doubt

For this is where faith comes from

And nowhere else to go

One foot and then another

One day will lead to you
